Our systems have been operating flawlessly for many years in thousands of facilities in Poland and around the world. Currently, Ampio's distribution covers over 20 markets.

Ampio was born among a group of young friends who shared a passion for electronics. Formally, the brand has existed since 1997 and initially functioned as the name of car alarm systems.

Around 2000, the idea of creating a smart home system emerged. We imagined how such solutions could have a huge impact on everyday life. At that time, few people in Poland were thinking about such technologies, and in Europe the first standards were just being developed – the KNX system was only entering the standardisation process and was not yet widely recognised.

In 2007, we decided to build a system that would be both innovative and intuitive to use. It was based on the CAN bus, developed by BOSCH over 30 years ago and still used today in the automotive, aviation and industrial sectors.

At first, we created solutions for ourselves, testing them in our own homes. Thanks to this, the Ampio system is practical and responds to real needs.

Today, Ampio is one of the few alternatives to the global KNX standard. Our system is constantly evolving to respond to the real needs of our users.
